Assassin’s Creed III Walkthrough

Here is the list of animals located in each hunting region, ordered alphabetically, specific location hints for some animals provided, a complete location guide for all animals in all regions is coming soon!

Black Creek:

• Beaver – Located around the banks of the river in the southern part of the map.
• Bobcat – North-East of Fort Duquesne in the rocky area overlooking the water source. There is also a hunter’s society mission to kill a bobcat in this area.
• Elk – Outside the walls of Fort Duquesne to the East. Can also be found on the North and central western side of the region.
• Hare – Around the walls of Fort Duquesne. More prevalent to the East.

Concord:

• Beaver – Along the banks of the river bordering Concord and Valley Forge hunting areas.
• Deer – In the Eestern side of the region, most commonly found in the north-eest corner.
• Hare – Can be found all across the region just outside the built areas.
• Raccoon – Can be found near the built up areas in the North-West, North-East and south East corners of the hunting region.

Diamond Basin:

• Beaver – Located on the Eastern shore of the main water source in the centre of the region and in fewer numbers on the Western side.
• Cougar – Can be found atop the rocky outcrops North-North -East of the large lake in the centre of the hunting zone.
• Deer – Deer can be found all over the region.
• Wolf – The wolves appear to be concentrated around the western reaches of the Diamond Valley Hunting area and west of the smaller water source at the south of the map.

Great Piece Hills:

• Bobcat – In the very north-West corner of the region.
• Elk – Found throughout the region.
• Hare – In the southern part of the region, with more being concentrated to the Eastern side of the area.
• Wolf – Along the Westernmost boundary, where the Great Piece Hills and Diamond Basin hunting regions meet.

John’s Town:

• Bear – On the banks of the water source in the north and the river in the south and south-east of the region.
• Elk – in the north-east corner of the region, near the entrace to the Homestead.
• Fox – On the western side of the region between the small settlement in the north and the river at the south of the area.
• Hare – In and around the settlement in the north-west of the region.

Kanien:keh:

• Cougar – Atop the rocky outcrops above the river directly to the east of the village.
• Deer – Deer can be found all across the region.
• Fox – Foxes can be found on the western side of the area near the boundary line between the Kanien:keh and Black Creek hunting area.
• Hare – Located around the wall of the village and the surronding areas.

Lexington:

• Deer – Can be found around the outskirts of the town in the far East and West of the area
• Fox – The largest concentration of foxes can be found along the easternmost border of the hunting region.
• Hare – On the outskirts of town, most commonly to the West and south-west of the hunting region.
• Raccoon – Can be found in the central north and south-west portions of the map.

Monmouth:

• Elk – Found around the West and North boundaries of the hunting region.
• Fox – Located just outside and along the shore to the east of Fort Monmouth.
• Hare – Can be found in and around the buildings in Monmouth.
• Raccoon – Can be found in and around the buildings in Monmouth.

Packanack:

• Bear – Found in the south-western corner of the region.
• Beaver – Located along the banks and in close proximity to the river as it flows along the eastern side of the map
• Bobcat – Can be located close to the western edge of the map between the two rivers.
• Hare – Hares can be found in the very north-west corner of the region and also close to the river at its easternmost point.

Scotch Plains:

• Cougar – Can be found just to the east of Fort St-Mathieu and west of the entrance to New York.
• Deer – Can be found all accross the region, the largest numbers can be found in the nort westernmost part of the region directly to the north of Fort St Mathieu.
• Hare – As with deer, hares Can be found all accross the region, the largest population though is found in the nort westernmost part of the region directly to the north of Fort St Mathieu.
• Raccoon – Found along the northern fringes of the region, close to the boundary between Scotch Plains and Lexington.

Troy’s Wood:

• Deer – Located broadly around the south and the eastern portions of the hunting region.
• Elk – located around the water source in the south-western part of the area.
• Hare – Sound mainly in the south-east of the area
• Wolf – Can be tracked down in the Western reaches of the Troy’s Wood hunting region.

Valley Forge:

• Beaver – Found around the island and the lake in the centre of the southern part of the region.
• Elk – Elk can be found all over the region. The largest concentration of them can be found around the south and eastern parts of the region.
• Hare – Found mostly along the eastern boundary of the region where it borders the Concord hunting region. Can also be found around the southern parts of the lake in the centre of southern Valley Forge.
• Raccoon – Found mostly along the eastern boundary of the region where it borders the Concord hunting region.

Davenport Homestead:

• Beaver – You will find the beavers along the river banks and on the shore of the lake below the homestead.
• Deer – The deers are located between the main community and the manor.In addition, there are some wandering about in the south-western area near where Norris hangs about.
• Elk – Elk can be found just to the north of the manor.
• Fox – At the south-west reach of the river in the area. Can also be found around Myriam’s cabin north-west of the manor.
• Hare – Can be found in the open areas directly to the west of the manor.
• Raccoon – the raccons hang out around where Norris is located in the south-west corner of the area and can also be found north of Myriam’s cabin.
• Wolf – There are wolves on the peninsual to the south of the Harbormaster, on the top of the cliffs at the north-west corner of the area (there is a Peg leg trinket here).
