After pickpocketing more than 100 coins from citizens, you will recieve a message saying that you have joined the thief’s club.
Thief’s Club Challenges [CLBTGC]
Once you have successfully joined the club, Connor will be able to undertake these challenges. Note that as with the other club challenges, they are retrospective as well, so if you have completed some of them prior to joining the club, you will find that once you do join, they have already been completed.
The challenges can be viewed and their progress tracked from the Logbook in the map menu.
Without further ado, here are a list of all the challenges:
Challenge Set 1:
Pick-pocket 200 pounds
Simply walk behind citezins or guards and pickpocket money from them. Repeat until you have accumulated 200 pounds.
Perform 25 Air Assassinations
Self-explanatory, assassinate a target from above to air assassinate them. Repeat!
Catch a Courier
You will occasionaly bumb into couriers in the main cities. They will have a red symbol with a white exclamation mark above their head. When you see one, he will run away. Chase him down and tackle him to complete the challenge.
Kill 10 enemies from Hiding Places
No doubt you will have unlocked this during the campaign. Simply press the assassinate button when a guard gets too close to you when hiding in cover 10 times.
Loot 10 bodies
Once you have killed or knocked out an enemy, loot the body. Do this 10 times.
For completing all of these challenges, you will recieve the second tier of challenges to try your hand at.
Challenges Set 2:
Escape from open conflict by using blending or hiding 10 times
After getting in trouble with the guards, break line of sight and then get Connor into a hiding spot and wait until the status indicator turns green. Repeat 10 times.
Steal everything a guard owns 3 times
Trail behind a guard and hold down the pick pocket button. You can pick pocket up to three times on a single target. Do this to three guards to complete the challenge.
Lure away a guard dog using bait 3 times
Throw bait near a guard dog to distract it. The best place to find them is guarding the templar chests. Note you can repeat the process three times on the same dog if you are having difficulty finding others.
Perform 30 stealth kills without being detected
Kill somebody without them noticing 30 times. You will have easily done this by the end of the story.
Steal everything from a rich citizen without being detected
Trail behind a fancily dressed civilian and hold down the pick pocket button. You can pick pocket up to three times on a single target. Do this until you can pick pocket no more to complete the challenge.
Again, for completing all of these challenges, you will recieve the third (and final) tier of challenges to try your hand at.
Challenges Set 3:
Poison 5 enemies
You can buy poison darts from the general store and you can use them as you would any ranged weapon. Use them on five enemies.
Find and empty 10 chests in New York
Track down 10 templar chests in New York. For a complete locations guide, check out this: [CLTBGH].
Win 500 pounds by playing Minigames
Mini-games can be played in taverns or on the Homestead. Simply win enough times to earn 500 pounds.
Pick-pocket or loot 1,500 pounds
Simply walk behind citezins or guards and pickpocket money from them. Repeat until you have accumulated 1500 pounds.
Successfully attack and loot 3 convoys
You will occasionally come across convoys out in the frontier. To loot them, kill or neutralise all the guards escorting it and then hop in the back for the goods. Do this for three different convoys to complete the challenge.

I have run around the cliff 3 times, completely around it and I cannot find out how the hell to get to the top to collect the trinket
I know where the pegleg trinkets are, the trouble is getting them. Specifically the one on the top of the cliff in the Davenport Homestead region. I have run around the cliff 3 times, completely around it and I cannot find out how the hell to get to the top to collect the trinket. I can't find a walkthrough anywhere that tells me how either. What am I missing?
