Easter Eggs

The Assassin Turkey

Go to the Homestead and stand at the corner of the main house closest to the stables. Take cover on the corner and peek around it. Whistle whilst you are doing this. Turn around and there will be a turkey behind you. Highlight the turkey and press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right.

Doing this will give the turkey an assassin hood and it will follow you around every where. very cool!

Assassin’s Creed III has 50 achievements and 51 trophies. These are awarded for experiencing the single player campaign, its side-quests, collectibles and underoging some miscellaneous tasks. Additionally, the multiplayer has a few achievements ties into it as well. Below you’ll find a categorised list of the achievements/trophies in the game and how you can unlock each one.

Game Progression Achievements/Trophies

There are 16 achievements/trophies that can be earned by simply progressing through the game until completion. There is an additional trophy that can be earned by completing all of the Epilogue missions. These are short cut-scenes that are activated in certain locations and unlocked once the main game has been completed.

Here they are in order of appearance and what needs to be done:

• Rude Awakening – Re-Enter the Animus.
• Mystery Guest – Complete Sequence 1 & 2.
• How D’ya Like Them Apples – Complete Sequence 3.
• Heroes are Born – Complete Sequence 4.
• The Day the Templars Cried – Complete Sequence 5.
• Criss Cross – Complete Present – Skyscraper.
• Tea is for Englishmen – Complete Sequence 6.
• The Whites of Their Eyes – Complete Sequence 7.
• Caged Wolf – Complete Sequence 8.
• Daddy Dearest – Complete Present – Stadium.
• Two if by Sea – Complete Sequence 9.
• Grim Expectations – Complete Sequence 10.
• The End is Nigh – Complete Present – Abstergo.
• Difficult End – Complete Sequence 11.
• The Sum of Truth – Complete Sequence 12.
• No Good Deed Goes Unpunished – Open the Temple Door and finish the game.
• Fin – Complete each of the epilogue missions unlocked after the credits roll.

Side-Quest Achievements/Trophies

There are 10 achievements/trophies tied into the side-missions available in Assassin’s Creed III, likely to force those achievement/trophy hunters to experience everything the game has to offer. Each of them are fairly self explanatory and can be obtained by following the relevat sections in the above guide.

Here are a list of the achievements/trophies that fall into this category and what needs to be done to unlock each of them:

By Invitation Only

Description: Be invited to join a Club.

How to: There are four clubs in the game and each of them has a different requirement for becoming a member. Thieves want you to pickpocket 100 pounds from citezins, hunters want you to hunt and skin animals, the frontiersmen will become interested in you after exploring a few locations and the Boston Brawlers will invite you once you have used unarmed combat enough. Entrepreneur, not Pirate!

Description: Complete all 12 Privateer Contracts.

How to: Self-explanatory! Finish all of the Privateer missions to unlock this one. For a guide to the privateer missions, have a look here: [PRVSTS].

All Washed Up

Description: Complete all Naval Missions aboard the Aquila.

How to: Self-explanatory! Finish all of the Privateer missions to unlock this one. For a guide to the privateer missions, have a look here: [NVQSTS].

House Party

Description: Recruit any of the Artisans and see them settled on the Homestead.

How to: Complete your first Homestead side-quest to have an artisan join the community at the Homestead. For a full walkthrough of the Homestead side-missions, look here: [HMQSTS].

A Complete Set

Description: See all the optional characters settled at the Homestead.

How to: Recruit all of the members of the Homestead: Godfrey and Terry, Myriam, Lance, Warren and Prudence, Norris, Dr White, Ellen and Big Dave. Man of the People

Description: Liberate all districts in Boston OR New York.

How to: You will first be able to undertake this achievement/trophy following sequence 6, part 1: On Johnson’s Trail. To liberate a district, you need to look at your map and head over to the cross icons. These indicate short, liberation tasks. Complete all of these in a district and you will unlock an district liberation mission. Complete this to liberate the district. Bring Down the House

Description: Explore Fort Wolcott.

How to: Complete the side-mission ‘Fort Wolcott’ to earn this one. You can find a walkthrough here: [PLQST1]. To unlock this mission, you will need to find four Peg Leg trinkets and hand them in to Peg Leg near the Harbormaster in Davenport Homestead. Kidd Gloves

Description: Uncover the mystery of Oak Island.

How to: Complete all of the Peg Leg side-missions to unlock this one. To unlock this mission, you will need to complete the four other Peg leg missions first. You can find a walkthrough here: [PLQSTS]. To unlock these you need to find and hand in all of the Peg Leg trinkets to Peg Leg near the Harbormaster in Davenport Homestead. In Good Standing

Description: Complete all challenges for any of the Clubs.

How to: Once you have joined a club, you will be given a number of challenges complete all three tiers of challenges for one of the clubs to unlock this achievement/trophy. You can find a complete club guide here [CLBQST].

Collectible Achievements/Trophies

There are four achievements/trophies tied directly into collecibles that can be picked up in game. Here they are and how you can grab them all:

Blowing in the Wind

Description: Retrieve every page for one of Ben Franklin’s Almanacs.

How to: After first arriving in Boston, you will recieve the side-mission to recover the almanac pages. You will find these scattered throughout Boston and New York and will fly away as you approach. Simply chase down one and grab it for the achievement/trophy. A locations guide can be found here: [CLTBAL].

Patent Not Pending

Description: Craft one of Franklin’s inventions to decorate your Manor.

How to: Once you have collected four almanac pages, you will have unlocked a recipe for one of Benjamin Franklin’s inventions. From the ledger in the Davenport Homestead craft it to unlock this one.

An Extraordinary Man

Description: Complete the Encyclopedia of the Common Man.

How to: You will need to complete the Encyclopedia for Achilles by scanning the inhabitants of the Homested. You can find a walkthrough for this side-quest here: [HMQS37].

Head in the Cloud

Description: Find all pivots and sync the Animus to the Cloud.

How to: Pivots are collectibles that appear after the game has been completed and unlock cheats that can be used in game. You will need to find 10 Animus pivots in your game world to unlock this achievement/trophy. You can find a pivot and Animus hack guide here: [PVTANH].
Combat Achievements/Trophies

Spit Roast

Description: Perform a double assassination using a musket.

How to: You need to kill two soldiers at once with the musket. The best place i found to do this is in sequence 2E Infiltrating Southgate. At the very start you will be on a rooftop and will need to assassinate a guard patrol below. grab one of the muskets and walk out on the wire hanging over the street. Air assassinate a guard in a group and there is a very good chance you will manage to hit two of them at once for the achievement/trophy.

Predator

Description: Hang 5 enemies by using rope darts.

How to: Equip a rope dart and sit in a tree on a branch. Shoot a guard with the rope dart and hold down the ranged attack button. Afterwards, jump out of the tree to hang them. Repeat 4 more times!

Whits fur yell no go by ye!

Description: Block a firing line 5 times by using a human shield.

How to: During combat, if you see a yellow triangle appear above an enemies head, that indicates that they are about to shoot you. At this point hit the disarm button on a nearby guard to pull him in front of you as a human shield. Do this 10 times to complete the challenge.

Jager Bomb

Description: After becoming fully Notorious, kill 10 Jagers before losing your notoriety.

How to: An easy way to do this is to head to Fort Division in New York, there are 10+ jagers walking around in here, so as long as you kill them all before you complete the objectives to liberate the fort you should have enough to kill for the achievement/trophy.

Misc Achievements/Trophies

Circus Act

Description: Kill 15 guards with a single cannon shot.

How to: During sequence 10C ‘Battle of Monmouth’ you will be put in control of a cannon, and are taksed with firing on incoming British troops. Wait for a couple of groups to move close to one another and hit them with a cannonball to take them out. This should be enough to unlock this one.

Monopoly Man

Description: Send a convoy to Boston, New York and the Frontier.

How to: Once you have a few settlers at the homestead, you are able to craft caravans. Once they are crafted simply send one to each of the required locations to unlock this achievement/trophy.

Eye Witness

Description: Witness a predator killing an enemy.

How to: This one is an achievement/trophy that is not hard to get on purpose. Whilst wandering around the frontier you will occasionally see a wolf, bobcat or other predator animal killing a smaller animal. The first time you see that it should unlock.

Prince of Thieves

Description: Loot a convoy without killing any of its guards.

How to: Occasionally you will see caravans being escorted through the frontier by groups of guards. To loot these without killing anyone, make sure you are unarmed and deal with all of the guards. Then hop into the back of the wagon to loot it for the achievement/trophy.

Original Gamer

Description: Win a game of Fanorona, Morris and Bowls on the Homestead.

How to: You will find all three of these minigames on the Homestead. You must win a game of each for the achievement/trophy. The bowls can be found outside of the inn, Fanorona is inside the manor and Morris is inside the inn itself.

Coureur des Bois

Description: Exchange undamaged pelts at all different general stores.

How to: There are two parts to this achievement/trophy. firstly we need to hunt and kill some animals using the hidden blade and then skin them for perfect pelts. When you have enough, its time to go and sell them at every general store. There are nine of these in the game and they can be found at the following locations:

• Boston 1. In the very North West corner of the Northern District. 2. In the Central district near the longest dock in Boston. 3. In South Boston directly west of the southernmost harbormaster in the city.
• New York 1. In north new York in the North East corner of the area. 2. At the very southern part of East New York. 3. Near the Northern boundary between East and West New York.
• Frontier 1. Concord – Next to the fast travel point in the Concord hunting region. 2. Lexington- In central lexington near the tavern. 3. Monmouth – In the group of buildings at the centre of the Eastern boundary of the hunting region. 4. There is also a travelling peddler on a wagon that cuts big laps around the map.

Tumblehome

Description: Upgrade the Aquila.

How to: For this one you will need to apply at least one upgrade to the Aquila. To do this, go to the Homestead and look at the book on the table next to the Harbormaster. From here you can purchase upgrades. After your first purchase the achievement/trophy will unlock.

Magna cum Laude

Description: Have a Trainee reach the Assassin Rank.

How to: To do this you need to complete some of the district Liberation missions in order to recruit assassins. afterwards, head to the assassin menu and send them on missions to build up their experience. eventually they will reach assassin rank, at this point this bad boy will unlock.

Completionist Achievements/Trophies

Completionist

Description: Complete ALL progress tracker grid entries.

How to: You need to complete the DNA tracker to 100%. To do this, you can track your progress from the DNA tracker in the main menu or use this 100% checklist: [SYCHGD].

Multitasking

Description: Complete 50% of the Progress Tracker entries.

How to: Complete at least 50% of the tasks shown in the DNA tracker. This can be viewed from the DAN tracker option in the main menu.

Perfectionist

Description: Complete 100% of all main mission constraints.

How to: Complete all of the optional objectives in each mission from sequence 1 to sequence 12. You should have been able to complete this using the above walkthrough!

Multiplayer Achievements/Trophies

Abstergo Entertainment

Description: Reach level 20 in the multiplayer mode.

How to: Self-explanatory! Reach level 20 in the multiplayer aspect of Assassin’s Creed III

Personalized

Description: Customize your multiplayer Profile and Character.

How to: Play a few games to earn a bit of cash and then purchase an item to customise your character. The first time oyu do this, you will earn the achievement/trophy.

Winning Team

Description: Be on the winning team at the end of a multiplayer game session.

How to: Simply win a game!

Hunter/Killer

Description: Reach sequence 10 in a map on Wolfpack multiplayer mode.

How to: Complete the first 10 sequences of any wolfpack mode. Can be done online or in offline mode.

The Truth Will Out

Description: Unlock a hacked version of one of the Abstergo videos in the story quest.

How to: In the menu you will notice an Abstergo Story option. Complete the ch
