Asetek has released a cooling block for hard drives, allowing you to lower the temperature of your hot running drives.”

I know I’m not the only one with a bad taste in my mouth from the current chassis trend, and that is why today I am checking out at an oldie that looks promising. Today I will be taking a look at the anodized black, windowed version of Kingwin’s KT-424. Even though this case has been around for over a year, it is still in production and continues to have more potential than many other cases on the market.”

Meridian Tech. XClio Jr. Case

“It would not be fair or accurate to say the XClio Jr. (referred to as just Junior hereafter) is just a smaller version of the XClio. True, they share the distinctive Silver “X” styling, the top mounted USB/ Firewire ports, the mesh-grilled side panel and the lighted 80mm fan mounted on it, but that’s where the similarities end: It is completely different from its larger brother internally. Don’t let “Junior” moniker bother you though, because most of the features on the XClio are present on Junior, just executed in different ways. As always, it is up to the reader to determine which case best fits his or her needs.”

Pentium4 at 1066MHz System Bus

“One of the changes that the Pentium4 is supposed to go through is the bump to a 1066MHz System bus (or 266MHz FSB) from the current 800MHz (or 200MHz FSB). We’ve been wanting to test the P4 at 1066MHz FSB for some time now but the very limited overclocking abilities of the 915/925 chipsets prevented us from reaching such high speeds on any motherboards. Luckily, DFI sent us their 875P chipset board with an LGA775 socket and at the same time Corsair sent us some memory modules that work at DDR533 speed. We decided to use both of these components with our unlocked Pentium4 CPU to emulate a 1066MHz bus CPU.”
