Alexa has apparently changed their ranking system…. you can read the annoucement here:
We were at 116K, and the day they changed their ranking system we jumped to 57K.
I knew we were doing something right… we have been busting out asses, but I hadn’t been able to get beyond 100K… primarially because the Alexa rankings were very artificial and could be influenced to be bogus.
I feel the new rankings are in-line with what I see… there were some other sites that had much lower traffic than OCMS but had higher rankings, and that is now not the case.
We’ve always been cool, and now everyone knows it. We rock!
