Gigabit Upgrade

I recently upgraded to gigabit and have been woefully disappointed… I’m still trying to see if it’s the quality of my cable to my room, but I’m getting horrible throughput over gigabit (like 6-10% utilization).

At the LAN parties I get way more throughput, so I know my rig isn’t the problem. Both the destination and source are RAID 0 and 5, so there’s not a problem there. I’m averaging about 6MB a second, which is horrible for gigabit speeds.

I’m still doing testing, so I’ll let you know what’s up.
