Evercool Zodiac Notebook Cooler Review

So what do I think of the Zodiac? Let’s do a few pros and cons.

Pros: Does a great job of cooling PCs, artwork is nice to look at, solid aluminum body dissipates heat effectively, very quiet fans, extra USB port, storage drawers, fans are reversible, on/off switch negates having to unplug USB to turn it off.

Cons: Bulky (won’t fit into most laptop cases), sharp edges dig into legs, fans are easily blocked, cools most efficiently on flat surfaces, no manual or even instructions, artwork may be a little embarrassing for most people, a little heavy for travel.

So I have to say that compared to not using one at all, this cooler is much better for the life of your PC by leaps and bounds. Compared to using a typical plastic cooler that can be purchased anywhere, the Zodiac still out performs in style, quality, and efficiency. I would recommend this to anyone who uses a laptop mainly when they are near a table to put it on.

Why would people buy something to sit on their lap when it's design won't allow it to function while on their lap

Jim, my fing feeling exactly. What is the point? But unfortunately I'm the reviewer and not the designer.
