Overlord (PC) Review

Crashes and control challenges aside, there really isn’t much bad to say about this game. The developers clearly put a lot of thought into eliminating the boring aspects of standard-fare RPGs, and they succeeded admirably in my opinion. Simply put, this is a lot of fun in a very polished package.

Graphics 4 Beautiful scenery, excellent modeling. Faces are the weakness compared to other recent games; some lipsync issues in the cutscenes. Sound 5 Excellent voice acting. The music and sound effects are good but not intrusive. Longevity 4 The single-player mission is the star of the show; the multi-play options feel pretty weak after that hilarious romp. Fun Factor 5 As said in Dungeon Keeper a decade ago: ”It’s Good To Be Bad!” FINAL VERDICT: 5 out of 5 stars
