The Seattle Seahawks will try to make it to the Super Bowl for the first time Sunday afternoon when they face the Carolina Panthers in the NFC championship game at Qwest Field. The game starts at 3:30 p.m. The Seahawks came close to the Superbowl in 1984 when they lost to the Raiders in Los Angeles 30 to 14 in the AFC title game.
The Seahawks are unbeaten at home this season, 8 and 0 during the regular season and 1 and 0 in the playoffs. The winner of Sunday’s game in Seattle will face the AFC champion, either Denver or Pittsburgh, in Detroit on February 5th in the Super Bowl!
