Since Corsair plays hard-ball with its customers about providing warranty service for its known design flaws (more on this in an upcoming review), I’ve decided to take matters into my own hands and repair the broken LEDs in my Corsair K95 keyboard myself. I purchased a set of 100 white replacement LED lights for the three keys that have blown in the keyboard. Based on other reports, I should expect many more in the coming months, so I went ahead and got new lights to plan ahead.
The new LEDs arrived in the mail today, so I’ll break out the soldering iron and replace these lights sometime next week.

I’m looking for a guide on how to replace the failed LED’s, so if you have a link to your follow up article, which you totally wrote :p, then please post it up!
I have this same problem… Could you share how this is done. Do you have to replace the entire switch or could you just replace the LEDs? Specification of the parts (and where to get them)?
