This keyboard seems to provide the bare minimum, but not with a bare-minimum price. The keyboard provides only the minimum 6-key rollover (with USB), no backlighting, no USB or audio passthrough. Because of its compact design, the QuickFire Stealth utilizes a frustrated Fn key system, no macro support, and the compact layout can be difficult to get used to. For an extra $20 you can get a much better mechanical keyboard with wrist rest, USB passthrough, backlit keys, macro support, USB or audio passthrough, and even onboard memory for different profiles.
Cooler Master’s own QuickFire Ultimate is only $10 more, and you get a full-size mechanical keyboard with backlighting.
This might be a good minimalist keyboard if you love mechanical keyboards and want to make light use of it with your laptop, but we really can’t recommend it for heavy typists or gamers. Spend the extra $20 and get a better full-size keyboard.
