Five Nights at Freddy’s Review

It’s a point-and-click game with very basic controls, but it’s so immersive that you forget it’s just a game.  You can only look back and forth, click on camera feed buttons, open and close the doors, and turn on and off two lights.  That’s it.  You feel absolutely helpless.

Why is there such limited movement inside your office?  It’s because you’re in one of the animatronic suits as well.  The animals see you as a frameless robot, and since that’s against the rules, you have to wear the suit.  It makes no sense to me, being stuffed inside an animatronic forest creature, but that’s the game.  And it makes it even creepier.

West Hall Backstage

I didn’t make it through to the fifth night.  They got me.  And let me tell you, it’s unnerving when the get to you.  There’s a good chance I’ll have nightmares when I go to bed tonight, and that makes me happy.

Cluttered Desk

Five Nights At Freddy’s lives up to its reputation.  I was scared, and had shivers run through my body each time something was different on one of the monitors.  If you like horror games, this is one to try.  At $4.99 on Steam, it’s well worth the money.
