Some of you may have noticed (ok, a LOT of you have noticed, based on the emails I get) that OCMS hasn’t really been updated a whole heck of a lot within the past 2 weeks.
I know it’s hard to believe, but I cannot live on the income that OCModShop brings in… something that my accountant reminded me of this past week. Regardless, we bring you news, reviews, and articles that compete very well against much larger (and more profitable) sites.
The reason for the lack of updates is very simple: recently I lost my day job, and I’ve had to focus my efforts onto paying my mortgage, paying bills, and preparing for another job.
The goal is to one day make OCModShop so big that I can live off of it (and make the OCMS writers “legitimate” by paying them properly). I have not given up on that goal, so stay tuned, and thanks for your support!
P.S. One of the things that can help OCMS rolling along is to get some news monkeys to post news, and automate other tasks… so if you’d like to donate your time or programming skills, please drop me an email!
