A first look at Call of Duty 3 for Wii
Bytesector :: Saturday, November 18, 2006
“Media lined everywhere for the chance to play a game, any game. Without a doubt, Call of Duty 3 had the largest crowd. After the excitement died down a bit I decided to creep over to the CoD 3 booth to get some play time. My anticipation for this console has built up since last week and as this launch event came closer and after seeing some recent gameplay footage released online, I was more excited to try CoD 3 in the Wii realm.”

Devil May Cry 3- Dante’s Awakening Review
Gamepyre :: Saturday, November 18, 2006
I’m not sure about the game Devil May Cry 3. I liked the fighting a lot and it has really cool techniques, swords, guns and monsters. But as far as the controls and graphics go its not as good as I would of expected even though it has a lot of good qualities to it. So if you really don’t mind how the controls are and how the graphics are and you like fighting RPG and 2nd person shooting games this would be a good game for you and I recommend you try it out. There are a lot of secret items and missions in this game in this game so look closely when you play or you may miss them entirely.

In-Depth Nintendo Wii Review
Digital Trends :: Saturday, November 18, 2006
If you’re an HDTV-owning home theater enthusiast who puts surround sound capability, eye-popping technological pizzazz, Blu-ray/DVD support and on-demand access to downloadable music and video content above base game play, this is the point where you can officially stop reading. Beg, plead, whine, cheat, steal from some poor teen who preordered the unit, even. Whatever it takes to get the job done, the system you’re looking to lay hands-on this year is the PlayStation 3. However, should you be a longtime hobbyist chagrined by the industry’s recent focus on cookie-cutter sequels, a gaming neophyte intrigued by this growing interactive entertainment fad, a fan of all-time great franchises like Mario and Zelda or simply an everyday admirer with a passing interest in the subject matter, we’ve got some good news. The Wii is your console of choice, and just the sort of eye-opening kick in the pants the biz has been desperately in need of for, oh, roughly the last half-decade or so. ”

Building an affordable AM2 Gaming System
TechSpot :: Tuesday, November 14, 2006
Currently there is a massive amount of competition in almost every corner of the computer industry. This has resulted in a wide range of products, as manufacturers attempt to capture as much market segment as they possibly can. Take the war between ATI and Nvidia, for example. Each company has been scrambling to gain an upper hand in every price bracket. Currently there are loads of options in the sub $100 range, $150, $200, $250, $300, and all the way through to $600+. The same can be said about CPUs, which have not only reached phenomenal levels of performance, but are also more affordable than ever. For this article we have actually built an affordable gaming system based on AMD’s AM2 platform, coupled with an Athlon64 3800+ and a GeForce 7900GS, we keep this system’s core components below the $600 mark, and then compare it against a top of the line Core 2 Duo E6700 gaming rig costing in excess of $1500.

Revoltec Gamepad Precision Pro
Bjorn 3d :: Tuesday, November 14, 2006
Most modern mice work fine directly on a desk but in my view there is no substitue for a good mouse mat when it comes to precision and comfort. I like those huge cloth mouse mats but when Revoltec offered me to review their Gamepad Precision Pro I couldn’t say no.
