Nikon D40 Review
Digital Trends :: Monday, February 26, 2007
“Nothing surprising here. The all-black D40 looks like every other D-SLR out there other than the Nikon logo just below the auto pop-up flash. Anyone looking for something special design-wise won’t find it here. Utilitarian is the best descriptor. This camera is rather lightweight, tipping the scales at 27.4 ounces including supplied lens, battery, strap and card. Surprisingly, the Canon XTi feels much more substantial even though it only weighs an ounce more. And it weighs four ounces less than the D80; Nikon had to strip some features in order to hit the sub-$600 price for this “Made In Thailand” camera. Simply put: it does not have the feel or build of other D-SLRs recently reviewed such as the Canon Digital Rebel XTi, Sony alpha or Pentax K10D. It also doesn’t cost as much as those cameras; figure around a $200 premium for the Canon and Sony. And don’t forget Olympus has an 8MP D-SLR too that goes for less than $600 with a lens (the somewhat long-in-the-tooth E-500). ”
Nokia N800 Internet Tablet Review
XYZ Computing :: Monday, February 26, 2007
The N800 is actually Nokia’s second generation internet tablet. The previous model, the 770, is still for sale (for $40 cheaper than the N800). The older model has a slightly larger, has a less elegant design, and lacks the N800’s on-board camera as well as its second flash card expansion slot. The N800 has double the RAM and onboard storage of the 770 as well as a new processor. Both devices run the Internet Tablet operating system, which is based on Debian, though the newer model has been upgraded to the 2007 version. Aside from a few tweaks the controls on the devices are basically the same, though the N800 is overall a much more refined product. While the 770 was largely a toy for enthusiasts, the N800 seems ready for much wider adoption.
Alienware Aurora m9700 17-inch Laptop Review
ThinkComputers :: Monday, February 26, 2007
“The last time we took a look at an Alienware laptop it was the Area-51 m5550 15.4-inch laptop. The m5550 is more of a mid-range budget system. The Aurora m9700 is on high-end being Alienware’s 2nd most expensive laptop they sell. This notebook is built for gaming with dual 256MB Nvidia Geforce Go 7900 GS video cards in SLI mode! This is the first and only 17″ laptop with a dual graphics card system. Before I reveal anymore about this laptop let’s get the review started!”
Razer Copperhead Mouse Review
PC Modding Malaysia :: Monday, February 26, 2007
“Here we have the front view and rear view of the Razer Copperhead. The Copperhead is designed to be symmetrical as it can be used as a right-handed mouse or a left-handed mouse. The two main buttons are quite large and there’s a semitransparent scroll wheel in between the two buttons. We were told that main buttons have been coated with non-slip rubber, but the button feels like hard plastic. The mouse measures in at 5.04” in length and 2.5” in width, so it’s really not a bulky mouse…”
HP dv9000z HD DVD Laptop Review
Digital Trends :: Saturday, February 24, 2007
“Port layout is straightforward and well thought out. The left side includes three video output options: s-video, VGA, and HDMI. You’ll also find a dock connector, gigabit ethernet, modem, two USB 2.0 ports, and one mini IEEE 1394 port. There’s also an SD/MS/MMC/XD slot, but CF owners are out of luck. The front edge includes the activity lights, wireless switch, IR receiver, microphone input, and two headphone ports (one of which supports S/PDIF for surround sound system connection). The right side houses two more USB 2.0 ports, the HD-DVD/DVD±RW DL drive, and ExpressCard slot. An optional ExpressCard TV tuner is available during product configuration. The power adapter plugs into the right side and has a blue, glowing ring to indicate that there is power flowing through the cable. “
RAPTOR-GAMING K1 Gaming Keyboard
Dragonsteel Mods :: Saturday, February 24, 2007
” Today for review I have another product from our friends at Raptor-Gaming, it is their K1 Professional Gaming Keyboard. If you’ve read my other reviews of Raptor-Gaming products you’ll know that I found them all to be excellent quality and great performing products, the K1 is no different in that respect, in fact it has become my main keyboard now I like it so much. That wasn’t the case though originally, at first I actually hated this keyboard, I used it for a while and just found that it felt wrong to me, but after a few days I learned to really like it, and have been using it for almost two weeks and I absolutely love it now. The K1 isn’t a keyboard with all the extra buttons, but it does have manual locks for the keys, Cherry Gold contacts, and replaceable keys, so read on to learn all about this excellent keyboard… ”
Cyber Snipa Intelliscope Laser Mouse Review
XYZ Computing :: Saturday, February 24, 2007
The button configuration gives the mouse seven buttons total- the two primary ones, the wheel, forward/back buttons on the left side, one on the top of the mouse (back from the wheel), and one on the right side. The last two on this list are not self-explanatory so- in case you were wondering- the one on top toggles the sensitivity while the right one spans the entire length where two left buttons are placed and is programmable with no default function. The sensitivity button on the top switches the mouse between two settings: Stealth (red LEDs, 1000 dpi) and ATAK (blue LEDs, 2400 dpi). The change is instantaneous and can be done very quickly, a great feature for games where you may need to get more accurate in a hurry.
Verbatim Store ‘n’ Go Pro 2 GB USB Drive
techPowerUp :: Saturday, February 24, 2007
The Verbatim Store ‘n’ Go PRO series is geared toward business men and women who need fast and large storage devices with the security to safeguard confidential information. The blue 2 GB variant may not look very out of the ordinary, but the inside is what counts. It certainly sounds good, with read speeds of ~24MB/s and write speeds of ~13MB/s and an included security suite.
Logitech Harmony 880 Remote Review
Extreme OC Tech :: Saturday, February 24, 2007
“The LCD display menu walks you through the first few steps up until you need to install the software. Unlike most universal remotes, the Harmony 880 is actually programmed via your computer (PC or Mac) in a web interface. One thing to note with the web interface is its current incompatibility with FireFox and you may need to temporarily disable security software before the remote can be programmed.”
NaturalPoint TrackIR 4 PRO & TrackClip PRO Review
Overclockers Club :: Thursday, February 22, 2007
“TrackIR 4 PRO is a head-tracker, which means it records the motion that you make with your head. It sends the signal to the game, which processes it as movement on the screen. It is a view-controller, meaning that you cannot move anything except the head of your character. I was expecting to be able to steer my car while racing, so I was disappointed to find out that it wasn’t possible.”
Logitech VX Revolution Mouse Review
Hardware Secrets :: Thursday, February 22, 2007
“Using a laptop’s touchpad requires a lot of patience. You can’t help having a notebook mouse even though it’s one more piece of equipment to carry along. There are several choices available on the market, from tiny mice to bigger cordless options like the Logitech VX Revolution. It’s almost a desktop mouse due to its size and ergonomic contour. The VX Revolution features the most comfortable and precise scrollwheel that we’ve used so far. Even though it’s not that portable for a notebook mouse it more than makes up for the space it requires on your laptop bag.”

The iPhone Killer Lands at 3GSM
Digital Trends :: Wednesday, February 21, 2007
“Boy, is the market for phones different than the market for MP3 players. I was there at the launch of the iPod, and I immediately saw it was a game changer. But it had a massive exposure; there were three other firms in the space — S3, Creative Labs, and Sony — and the iPod only worked on Macs. It took these competitors at least a year to understand what Apple had done and to come out with similar or better offerings. Now, over 5 years later, S3/RIO has exited the market, Creative Labs still doesn’t get it, and Sony seems to be doing its level best to commit suicide by overuse of DRM. ”
A-DATA Super Info SD Card 512MB
techPowerUp :: Wednesday, February 21, 2007
The A-DATA Super Info SD card comes with a little LCD readout that can display volume name and remaining capacity. This is a very useful feature because it allows you to check what is on the card without inserting it into a computer. The performance of the card is good as well, transfer rates are in the 12 MB/s range with access speeds of only 1.3 ms.

MegaScreen Mp3 player most most noticeable feature is the “big” OLED color screen that can not only display pictures but also Video files, provided that you convert them to a device-specific format. Overall, we were satisfied with the player’s performance. It didn’t produce any problems with playback of Mp3 and WMA files, and with such large capacities as 2GB, will provide many hours of enjoyment and easy listening.

nMedia Wireless RF Keyboard with Trackball Review
Think Computers :: Wednesday, February 21, 2007
“I just built a brand new HTPC last week. I am using the SilverStone LC14MC HTPC case. The case came with a wireless remote, but I still need to have a keyboard and mouse connected when I want to transfer files via USB, or just sit in my bed and surf the web. Now I really don’t want to shell out a lot of money for both a wireless keyboard and mouse especially since I’m not going to be using it either that much. When you go down to you local computer store the only wireless keyboards and mice are the high-end expensive one. Well nMedia has a great solution that solves the keyboard and mouse problem, their wireless RF keyboard with trackball!”
A4tech X-750BF 3xFire Laser Game Mouse Review
Review Desk :: Wednesday, February 21, 2007
“The thumb grip sure looks like a good idea, but for some reason the plastic material here seems to make my thumb sweat more than usual – and noticeably more than the rest of my hand. I only noticed this while playing intense FPS games such as F.E.A.R. and PREY. I didn’t have trouble holding onto the mouse, so the grip works, but I think it’d help if it were made from a different material – for instance, the same material that the right/left click are coated with. This issue is probably subjective.”
Saitek GM3200 Gaming mouse with 3200dpi Review
Xtreme Computing :: Wednesday, February 21, 2007
“Today we are looking at the world’s first 1st 3200 dpi laser mouse from Saitek, the GM3200. This mouse promises to be excellent with the features of it as well as the weight removal system. The question is will it be any good.”

Rechargeable USB Shaver Review
Dragonsteel Mods :: Monday, February 19, 2007
” I’m sure by now you know that I love gadgets of all shapes and sizes, the more obscure the better actually. Today for review I have one of those gadgets that is very useful, at least useful for guys, although girls might be able to use it… Our friends at Brando WorkShop have sent us a Rechargeable USB Shaver for review, and I have to say this is one of the more unusual reviews I have done, especially since it actually features myself in it…but anyway, I was skeptical about a USB shaver and how good it could be, well I was pleasantly surprised that it actually gives a nice close shave and the battery lasts quite a long time, so read on to learn more about one of the more useful USB powered gadgets out there today… ”
Gateway NX570 Laptop Review
Digital Trends :: Monday, February 19, 2007
Overall, the laptop has an industrial look that is as modern and hip as any other competitor in its class. Aside from the power button in the upper right-hand corner next to the keyboard, there are no other buttons outside of the keyboard to complicate the layout. No volume controls, mute button, “sleep” button or any other controls muddy up the intentionally minimalist layout. Traditionally, look and feel of this caliber has been reserved for the flagship models from each manufacturer, such as the Ferrari 5000 from Acer. Gateway should be commended for choosing to bring a higher fit and finish to the mainstream without bringing the corresponding higher cost. ”
Targus Voice Recording Presenter w/ Laser Pointer
Legit Reviews :: Monday, February 19, 2007

techPowerUp! :: Monday, February 19, 2007
Sharkoon has released a refresh of their 1337 Gaming Mat series. The new pads have grown considerably and carry the XL label. The big downside of the original 1337 Gaming Mat was its small size. The new XL mouse pads still have the great quality and performance of their smaller variants, while keeping the price down – perfect for low sensitivity gamers.
A4Tech X-750F Laser Gaming Mouse
Dragonsteel Mods :: Monday, February 19, 2007
Video games have become extremely popular with that comes many companies making specialized products aimed at the gamer market, mice and keyboards that are supposed to help your game out. There are good and bad products, we all know that not all products are created equal, some companies just try and make money off the latest trend by throwing something out to make some more money. Today for review I have one of the better gaming products out there today, our friends at Brando WorkShop have sent us the A4Tech X-750F laser gaming mouse for review, this mouse features a whopping 2500dpi and even includes a 3X fire button that fire three rounds or bursts per click. Read on to check out one of the best gaming mice on the market today…
Brando Optical USB Finger Mouse
Bona Fide Reviews :: Monday, February 19, 2007
Today we are taking a gander at Brando’s unique USB powered optical finger mouse. That’s right, a finger mouse. As far as finger mice go, this is the first and only one we at BFR have come across so it’s unofficially the world’s only finger mouse. The finger mouse is ideal for the mobile traveler that may not always have proper surface area to use their optical mouse on.
My experience with the Logitech VX Revolution
The Tech Lounge :: Sunday, February 18, 2007
“I bought the Logitech VX Revolution when I purchased my MacBook in the final days of 2006. I needed a notebook mouse and I’m extremely picky when it comes to pointer lag from wireless mice. The first wireless mouse I ever found to be better than a wired was the Logitech MX1000, which I can still tell has insanely small amounts of lag, but it is so close to a wired connection I can’t complain. The VX Revolution, on the other hand, is the first wireless mouse I have ever used which feels so responsive that I would never be able to tell the difference between it, and a wired version (if a wired VX Revolution existed). I haven’t used the MX Revolution, which is the desktop version of this mouse (with a couple more features), but I must say, the VX is the best [insert random expletive here] mouse I have ever used. Even though it’s built for portability, I could easy replace my MX1000 with the VX as my desktop mouse any day.”

In the years since then Razer have been producing mice which are more than a match for their competitors and the latest in the range is the DeathAdder, their first to feature a 3rd Generation optical lens. Brando Workshop 55-in-1 Card Reader Review
Think Computers :: Thursday, February 15, 2007
“Card readers are simple devices that are very helpful for Photographers and anyone who uses any type of card media. With all different devices using so many different types of memory cards it is a pain to have card readers for each different type of card. That is why card readers have become very popular. They can read many different types of memory cards and are powered by USB so they are easy to use and travel with. Today we will be looking at the mother of card readers, the Brando 55-in-1 card reader.”
Logitech Quickcam Ultra Vision Review

If you frequently use a webcam and are looking for the best one available, I don’t think there will be many other choices than the Ultra Vision. nMediaPC MCESKB RF Keyboard
Missing Remote :: Thursday, February 15, 2007
Designing a keyboard that can be all things to all people inexpensively is near impossible, but the nMedia MCESKB is a good compromise for most HTPC users. Usually, most of the daily HTPC operations will be carried out through the use of a remote control. Only the occasional debugging or web browsing session would require the use of a full keyboard. In those instances, this unit would fit the bill nicely. Due to the location of the left and right buttons, it is near impossible to play first person shooters without growing a 3rd hand. Other games which are primarily mouse based should work fine

Apple AirPort Extreme Review
Digital Trends :: Thursday, February 15, 2007
I was amazed with the distance I was able to cover without dropping any signal strength. 150 feet – full signal. 200 feet – full signal. 250 feet – a momentary dip, then back to full signal. 300 feet (I could barely see the AirPort Extreme by this point) – full signal. Another 20 feet and the signal dropped to almost nothing. I looked up from my laptop and discovered that several people had crossed into my path, directly between the base station and my laptop. I shooed them out of the way and the signal went back up to full strength. I kept walking and found that my signal finally dropped to half strength by the time I had passed 350 feet. “

Logitech NuLOOQ navigator Review
Techgage :: Tuesday, February 13, 2007
We are always on the look out for a tool that can help us work faster and more efficiently. Logitech’s NuLOOQ navigator promises a great deal of added functionality in a complimentary desktop tool, making it easier and more fun to use many applications. It’s not a mouse and certainly won’t take its place, you use it to compliment your mouse, NuLOOQ in one hand and your mouse in the other.
Pentax K10D Review
Digital Trends :: Tuesday, February 13, 2007
“This is a much-anticipated digital SLR. Not only does this new Pentax have a 10.2-megapixel CCD, it also has built-in Shake Reduction and a cleaning system to keep dust off the imaging device (and your prints). It’s also built to take a bit of beating since it’s weather resistant and has tight seals to keep dust out of the body. Not only that, it costs less than $1,000 with a lens, a very reasonable price but above the Sony alpha which has similar features (10MP CCD, image stabilization) but not nearly as rugged a body. It’s also more affordable than the 10MP Nikon D80 ($999, body only) that doesn’t have shake reduction. I was pretty excited taking this one out the box and couldn’t wait for the battery to charge. After sitting around for a few hours (no, we weren’t as bad as Southpark’s Eric Cartman waiting for the introduction of the Nintendo Wii) it was time to see how this new D-SLR performed. ”

Wi-Fi Skype Phones – ASUS AiGuru S1 vs. Netgear SPH101
Tweak Town :: Tuesday, February 13, 2007
“However, there is one drawback with Skype, you have to sit in front of your computer and use a headset to talk to people, hardly the most intuitive way of making a call. However, there are options available, ranging from cheap USB connected handsets which still keep you in close vicinity to your computer, to what we’ll be looking a bit closer to today, Wi-Fi enabled Skype handsets. You might wonder why you’d want a Wi-Fi telephone, although in this case it’s a lot more than just a simple telephone as you’ll see, but consider these handsets as a cordless phone and you’ll see why they’re so clever.
Logitech G5 Laser Mouse Review
Gamepyre :: Tuesday, February 13, 2007
The Logitech G5 Laser Mouse has a distinctive feel to it thanks to the adjustable weight system implemented with a cartridge. There is a Battlefield 2142 version of the mouse designed with BF 2142 in mind for $10 more. The negatives of this mouse are the lack of a left-handed version (the shape and feel of the mouse is not geared towards the lefties.) The bottom line on the Logitech G5 Laser Mouse is that it is a great mouse for First Person Shooters and a good mouse for those wanting a more solid feel to their mice. I give it a solid Gold Award as it is one of the best gaming mice on the market today.

Hi-tech Reviews :: Tuesday, February 13, 2007

How to Build a Wireless Network Using a Broadband Router
Hardware Secrets :: Monday, February 12, 2007
“More and more people are willing to assemble their own wireless network. With a wireless network set at your home or office, you will be able to share files, use the printer and access the Internet without the need of connecting a network cable to your computers. This is great if you have desktop computers located in places where is hard to install a network cable or if you want to have the freedom to access your network and the Internet using your laptop anywhere inside your home or office: you can carry your laptop from your bedroom or office to your living room and it will still be connected with no cables attached.”

IONE Genimi R16 keyboard and mouse combo Review
Xtreme Computing :: Monday, February 12, 2007
“The Gemini R-16 isn’t the thinnest keyboard I’ve seen but it isn’t fat and chunky either as you can tell by the picture above using the tilt position making this keyboard quite comfortable to use but it would have been nice for them to include a wrist rest to support your wrist when typing.”
SteelSeries SteelPad 5L
Nippy Chips :: Monday, February 12, 2007
“SteelSeries sent in a SteelPad 5L to get bench tested about two weeks ago. I have been reviewing the 5L for about a week now, to get the full experience. I received the 5L about two weeks ago, but was prevented from reviewing it due to the fact that I was absent of a desk. Since then I’ve finished making my new workspace, which rocks. I engineered it with these peripherals in mind. I took account of the large size of the 5L, and other mousing surfaces to make a large keyboard tray. It measures four feet across, and has a depth of eighteen inches. Now I have plenty of room for the 5L, my keyboard, and my Razer mouse. Not only does the 5L stand out on the tray in contrast to the dark wood, but it blends at the corners where the pad is darker. Read on for the full review…”
Logitech diNovo Edge Keyboard Review
OCIA :: Monday, February 12, 2007
“Before we move to the heart of the diNovo Edge, I wanted to show you just how slim this keyboard really is. The Edge measures just over 1/2” thick; 13mm to be exact. Extending the feet help raise the keyboard up a bit more, should you feel more comfortable with this typing angle. Logitech keeps with this slim design on the face of the keyboard as well. The majority of “accessory” buttons are flush with the plexi surface of the Edge. This only helps to add to the overall sleek appearance of the unit.”
nMedia 2.4GHz RF Wireless Keyboard w/ Trackball Review
Virtual Hideout :: Monday, February 12, 2007
“These smaller, multipurpose keyboards work great for HTPC setups, and look far better than a full size media center keyboard. With a maximum thickness of around 1.2″, this keyboard will not be in the way of anything. This is a full featured keyboard with big keyboard options found in a small footprint.”

Razer Krait Review
Overclockers Club :: Tuesday, February 06, 2007
“Well before I could start any testing with this mouse, I had to find a way to lower the sensitivity, as stock it comes so fast I could barley click on the close button on my windows. After installing the drivers I took a look at all the tweaks that I could perform to this mouse. First things first, I lowered the sensitivity from the max (10) down to something that felt closer to my old mouse (4). Now I was ready to go.”

Dell’s XPS M1210 laptop PC
Tech Report :: Tuesday, February 06, 2007
LIKE MANY THINGS IN the PC industry these days, laptop computers are a fairly mature sort of product. We all know about the basic types and sizes, and how the inevitable tradeoffs in display performance, size, weight, battery life and display real estate tend to work. If you’re a road warrior, you can get a svelte, compact machine with understated design cues and six hours of battery life; you’ll just have to sacrifice performance for that mobility. If you’re a gamer, you can get a graphics and processing powerhouse with Pontiac-style ribbed body cladding and a display large enough to double as the main sail on a small yacht; you’ll just have to accept the additional weight, heat, and battery drain that comes with it. For most of us, buying a laptop means deciding what set of tradeoffs we’re willing to make and then looking into the various choices in our preferred weight class.
The Dell XPS M1210, however, embodies an uncommon concept in portable computers. Like its bigger brothers in the XPS line, it looks to bring near-desktop-class performance into a mobile form factor. Unlike its sibilings, though, it targets the true ultraportable form factor, the featherweight class of laptops with 12.1″ wide-aspect displays. Combining these two goals may sound like a recipe for dissonance, but Dell has managed to pull off the feat with surprising style. The result is a laptop PC that packs more computing power per pound and per square inch than any other solution I can think of–you know, casually, while sitting here, not really Googling for it or anything.
The point is that the M1210 is both refreshing and really quite good, and we’ve worked up a full review of it for your reading pleasure. We’ve also taken the opportunity to compare the M1210 to a couple of older laptops in way that gives us a look at three generations of Centrino mobile technology.
5 Things You Need to Know About SLR Lenses
The Tech Lounge :: Tuesday, February 06, 2007
“There are two things I enjoy most in life. The first is photography and the latter, well…I like to tell people what to do. It makes me feel powerful. Strong. Like a small pony. Keep reading. One of the most common questions I get as related to photography is “what camera should I buy?” I’ve already answered that question (sort of) with a couple of previous articles. The next most common question (I mean next literally, as in directly after the previous question) is “what lens should I buy?” Well, that’s a tricky question because there simply is no one-size-fits-all lens. My goal in this article is to give you some basic knowledge about lenses that will help set you on the path to lens buying goodness, or if you’re like me, indecisiveness. Hey, it’s a start.”

Logitech diNove Keyboard
Missing Remote :: Monday, February 05, 2007
I know the Cons seem to outnumber the Pros, but I just love this keyboard. The main thing owners need to understand are it’s limitations. The touchpad clearly isn’t intended for full-time use, so don’t buy it thinking that it will. For occasional use, it works great, as does the rest of the keyboard. There’s definitely an adjustment period to learn how it all works & figure out the easiest way to the buttons, but it’s just a fantastic keyboard to own. It draws peoples’ eyes like a magnet, and has been more than capable at any typing I’ve had to do.

Unfortunately with a $129.99 price tag the keyboard is fairly expensive.

Tom Bihn ID Laptop Bag Review
XYZ Computing :: Friday, February 02, 2007
The best way to make sure your notebook get safely where its going is putting it in something protective. There are a number of companies out there who make backpacks, bags, briefcases, and all sorts of other products to help your notebook stay safe. This review will be taking a look one of the most popular choices: the messenger bag. Specifically we will be working with the ID bag from Tom Bihn. This is a company we have worked with before and while they are not as popular as Timbuk2 or as iconic as Chrome, they have some great ideas on how a bag should be designed. One exciting thing about Tom Bihn is that they are not afraid to design a bag that offers serious protection to your notebook. In addition to the ID bag we will be looking at the Brain Cell, a laptop case that locks into the bag for added protection.

Scorpius-M10 Mechanical Key Switch Keyboard
Barry’s Rigs n Reviews :: Friday, February 02, 2007
“The original IBM PC keyboard was the most rugged and reliable in the industry, and the excellent tactile and audible feedback of its mechanical key switches became legendary. Although those classic-design keyboards eventually gave way to ones with softer, quieter membrane key switches, thanks to the folks at Ione Technology, the “click” of tactile and audible feedback is back with the Scorpius-M10 Mechanical Key Switch Keyboard.”
Razer Tarantula Gaming Keyboard Review

Recently, Razer has also started producing gaming sound ware with the recent release of their “Barracuda” Gaming Headphones” and the “Barracuda” AC1 Gaming Sound Card”.
The World’s First Car Flight: Saving the World on Wheels
PC Mech :: Friday, February 02, 2007
o many of you, I am sure you have heard one story or another of a flying car development. The concept is rather straightforward — a vehicle in the shape of a car can lift itself an incremental height above the ground. So what makes this mention special? Urban Aeronautics, a privately owned aeronautics company, embraced the over-dreamt concept of a flying car and approached it from a different angle. While flying vehicles might seem like a cool concept and a great thing to play around with (I wouldn’t mind having one), the guys at Urban Aeronautics wanted to help out in emergency and defense situations in which other hover-crafts are not suited to work.
Logitech diNovo Edge

Logitech NuLOOQ Navigator
The Tech Lounge :: Friday, February 02, 2007
“Logitech’s NuLOOQ Navigator is one of the more interesting devices I’ve seen in the past few years. It’s an attempt to create a new breed of devices; it’s more than a mouse, it’s not a tablet, it’s a new way to move around your computer environment. But is it just another gadget or is it really useful? Will it change my usage patterns or just become an expensive paperweight? The details lie ahead.”
Logitech G25 Racing Wheel Review
OCIA :: Friday, February 02, 2007
“As I approach his back bumper I hit redline and slam it in third. With the finish line fast approaching, I made my move, flying around him on the left and crossing the finish line with half a car length to spare. I had won the race! I step out of my car and throw my fists in the air. I look to the crowd for my much earned recognition only to find two cats and my girlfriend looking at me with expressions of bewilderment, bringing me full circle back to reality.”

Fujifilm FinePix S9100 Digital Camera Review
XYZ Computing :: Friday, February 02, 2007
The camera we will be featuring in this article is the FinePix S9100. This is the follow up the S9000 and, as you can probably figure from the product’s name, the changes between it and the older model are not drastic. Regardless of where you stand on the DSLR issue, a camera like this has its advantages, namely SLR performance at a much lower price once you factor in the cost of lenses. The S9100 comes with a pretty nice lens so most users will not ever have to worry about changing it, but enthusiasts will not be happy with the in ability of the camera to grow with them and increase its versatility as they buy more lenses.
