Yup, it looks like I’m back on the OCmodshop horse.
We’ve just set up a new dedicated development environment with Ubuntu Linux so we can work on new features on the site. Since ideas tend to come to us when we’re actively working on something, that means you can expect a lot more development content here at your favorite tech website (I mean OCmodshop, ya smart asses). That means Ubuntu how-to articles, CSS, jQuery, and other web tutorials, and a lot more Android content.
At our house at least, we have way more Linux devices than Windows. It’s hard to avoid tablets, media streamers, and all of the other appliances that run Linux and have better usability than anything Redmond can push out. After playing with Ubuntu, I prefer it to Windows (even though I’m finally warming up to Windows 8).
Anyway, I’ve been neglecting my OCmodshop duties due to a lot of personal growth over the past year or so.
