God of War 2 PS2 Review
Game Pyre :: Thursday, April 05, 2007
I still haven’t decided if this game is better than the first God of War or not. Though the more I play it, the more I seem to lean towards yes. New attack moves and weapons add to the diversity of a game with such a linear story mode. There are plenty of new ways to move throughout the levels, including an ability to stop time, provided the conditions are right.
RevolTec Gaming Gear Review![]()
OCIA :: Thursday, April 05, 2007
“One of the coolest features of this keyboard are the included “gaming keys”. These extra keys can be swapped out with the standard letter keys. The included tool is very easy to use. Just slide it down over the existing key, then lift up. The key pops right out, allowing you to put the alternate key in its place. I was very impressed with how well the tool worked. It takes only a few seconds to swap out each key. This would also be very useful when cleaning the keyboard, as you can remove the majority of the keys without risk of breaking them.”
Genji: Days of the Blade (PS3)
Driver Heaven :: Thursday, April 05, 2007
Most Japanese console games have one thing in common – about 50% of the time spent on development is used up on character designing, modeling, animation and anything else that might be needed to make the protagonists more fleshed out. Because of that new character features usually appear first in games coming from the Far East – animated faces, clothes and other graphical features we take for granted today made their first appearance in eastern games. But what happens when developers spend too much time on the characters and the rest of the game suffers because of that?
Command and Conquer 3: Kane Edition (PC)
Driver Heaven :: Thursday, April 05, 2007
3 words that changed everything. If Tiberium Wars was regarded as a potentially good game prior to the announcement, it became one of the most anticipated RTS games of 2007 after it. Online forums were filled with posts about C&C once again; tiberium was a commonly used word, just like it was almost a decade ago. Fears about the quality of the game were next to forgotten – I mean, if you have Kane in the game it simply can’t be anything less than superb, right?
Wii Monster 4×4: World Circuit Game Review![]()
Red & Blackness :: Thursday, April 05, 2007
Something about the Nintendo Wii must bring out the creative side of game designers. An example of this phenomenon is the concept behind the Nintendo Wii game Elebits. Where does an idea for an Elebit come from, and who makes up a whole game about them? While we might never know the answer to that question, someone made it happen, and we’re here to see if the originality paid off. Read on to find out more in today’s game review.
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion: Shivering Isles
Driver Heaven :: Thursday, April 05, 2007
“It’s been quite some time since I anticipated something with so much excitement that my palms became sweaty and my pulse raced. But, the nearer I came to arriving at the local Fry’s Outpost Tuesday afternoon of the 27th of March, the more excited I got. Anyone who’s been reading the DriverHeaven forums for any length of time over the past year will already know what a fan I am of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. (Fanatic, anyone?)”
