Razer Lycosa Gaming Keyboard
techPowerUp :: Friday, February 08, 2008
The Razer Lycosa Keyboard is the company’s first input device with the flat key type – similar to that of notebooks. Those never tend to be the best for gaming, but Razer has managed to eliminate any shortcomings with a perfect pressure point and rubber coated keys.

The Club (Xbox 360 and Playstation 3)
Gaming Heaven :: Friday, February 08, 2008
The Club is a Bizarre Creations game which according to them is “sure to refresh the mechanics of 3rd person action shooters just as we have shaken up the racing genre. The Club is designed to be an addictive experience with rewarding gameplay that tests your skill to the limit and offers a relentless pace never before seen within the genre.”

Some pretty bold claims indeed, however I urge you to let me break it all down into layman’s terms. The Club is basically a game in which you run around, shooting enemies as fast and accurately as possible to get as high a score as you can, via a multiplier system. It sure doesn’t sound quite as appealing as the PR fluff so I will elaborate.

Devil May Cry 4 (Playstation 3)
Gaming Heaven :: Friday, February 08, 2008
Many eons ago when my young kids were in bed, I sat with my trusty Playstation 2 playing Devil May Cry by the firelight, and man this game just took action platforming to a whole new level. The incredible speed of combat and the pulsating action assured the game cult status and a true classic right up there with God Of War. Unfortunately however with the “next gen” consoles (lets drop this term already please, they have been out for years!) you are not instantly assured a next gen gaming experience. So it would be fair to say, that before I first popped the DVD into the shiny black monolith, I was concerned that somehow the feeling of the franchise would be lost behind the enhanced eye candy. Well I can assure you before I proceed any further, that the game rings true to the series and is a marvellous game to play, both for die hard fans of the series and for casual newcomers.

Pirates Of the Burning Sea (PC)
Gaming Heaven :: Friday, February 08, 2008
If you are an RPG fan your choices are usually limited to fantasy or futuristic settings. At best there is a sporadic game here and there that offers role playing fans a chance to be a modern day character or perhaps a history inspired adventurer. With MMOs the choices are even more limited. Title after title has us battling dragons and sorcerers, with the occasional jump into the future where goblins are replaced by aliens and spells by rifles (for some reason swords tend to stay swords). So you can imagine how much interest Pirates of the Burning Sea generated when the authors promised this Caribbean based MMO. Heck, the game deserves a chance purely because of its unique setting. But is that all it has going for itself, or does it offer more?

Rock Band for the Xbox 360 and PS3 Review
Futurelooks :: Friday, February 08, 2008
When Harmonix decided that they were going to leave the Guitar Hero franchise behind so that they could develop Rock Band for Electronic Arts Partners and MTV Games, people wondered how the two franchises would ultimately compare to one another. Being the proud owner of both Guitar Hero III and Rock Band, I can certainly say that there are merits to both games, but if you want a truly orgasm-inducing multiplayer experience, you really have no choice but to opt for Rock Band. It really is that much fun.
