HIS X1300 512MB DDR2 Dual DVI PCI Express Video Card
Bona Fide Reviews :: Monday, June 26, 2006

Today we have the last card in our HIS X1300 series of reviews; the X1300 dual DVI 512MB PCI Express. Unlike the previous two cards, this X1300 does not feature the IceQ cooler and instead uses a passive cooling solution. This is most likely because this card is not a part of the “Turbo” line of HIS cards meaning that it has received no overclock and comes at the normal X1300 speeds right out of the box. The core and memory speeds on this card are the typical 450MHz and 250MHz (500MHz effective).

HIS X1600 XT IceQ Turbo and CrossFire reviewed
Hi-Techreviews :: Monday, June 26, 2006
Recently we had the chance to review the HIS X1600 Pro and after finishing the review we were pleasantly surprised by how well it performed against the competition. So today we are pitting the HIS X1600 XT IceQ Turbo against the same cards to see how well it stacks up against them and to make thing a bit more interesting we have also included the some scores using the two cards in CrossFire mod.

Samsung HP-S5053 50″ Plasma
Bytesector :: Friday, June 23, 2006
“There is nothing more enjoyable than watching the big game or playing your Xbox on a 50″ plasma screen. Trust me; it’s a worthwhile experience for anyone who has not experienced a high definition TV before. And of course, watching DVD movies on a high definition up-scaling player is an enchanting experience in itself. All this and more is what Samsung’s HP-S5053 50″ plasma TV brings into the home theatre experience.”

Samsung S182D 18x Rewritable DVD Drive
Daily CE :: Friday, June 23, 2006
“Lots of “world’s…” entries today. Samsung has launched the world’s first 18x rewritable DVD drive that now makes Samsung the company with the fastest DVD drive on the market. Overall, it presents a 5 percent increase in speed performance over its 16x predecessors, which isn’t too much to get excited over. Combine this with Samsung’s Super-WriteMaster technology, the drive supports DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-RAM standards while recording. Of course, all three standards have their limitations as to how many you can rerecord per disc.”

Inno3D GeForce 7600 GST Review
Hardware Secrets :: Friday, June 23, 2006
“GeForce 7600 GS is the simplest GPU from the new mid-range GeForce 7600 series from nVidia. Inno3D launched a highly overclocked model, dubbed GeForce 7600 GST, which promises to have a performance reaching GeForce 7600 GT. In this review we are going to compare the performance of this overclocked model from Inno3D with the regular GeForce 7600 GS, GeForce 7600 GT and also against other products available on the market.”

Icemat Siberia Headset Review
GruntvillE :: Friday, June 23, 2006

“During game play, sound reproduction was consistently excellent with little or no distortion even at the highest settings. Surprisingly, the microphone turned out to be better than I had imagined. As I am normally used to a boom mic attached to a headset, I have found that the detached microphone performs as well if not better than my Altec Lansing’s. The headphones themselves are very comfortable even during long gaming sessions. The only drawback to this headset is the lack of active noise cancellation. ”

Asus EN7900GT-TOP Geforce 7900GT PCI Express videocard Review
PCStats :: Sunday, June 18, 2006
“The 256MB Asus EN7900GT TOP/2DHT/256M/A videocard is compatible only with PCI Express x16 slots so that means AGP users needs to get their fix elsewhere. The game comes with a large software bundle which includes a full copy of King Kong, two DVI to analog converters, a component output cable and a six pin molex power connector should your power supply not natively support the new generation of high powered videocards.”

NGOHQ :: Sunday, June 18, 2006
Sapphire is a well-known ATi partner. Their graphic cards and motherboards are popular world-wide. It seems that Sapphire has shipped many X1800GTO2 units to world-wide shops already. Sapphire introduced the GTO2 line with their X800 boards. The GTO2 name is quite popular due to its price, overclocking, and its high potential unlocking extra pipelines.”

ASUS EAX1300PRO 256MB Graphics Card Review
Virtual-Hideout :: Sunday, June 18, 2006

Quote: “If you are looking for a graphics card with a punch but can’t afford the hit to your wallet, the X1300 series of cards may be the choice for you. The Asus Extreme AX1300PRO comes with 256MB of RAM, and will run just about every game on the market. Of course, don’t expect to crank all the settings to High and have it run like a X1900. But its GPU, an ATI® Radeon® X1300PRO, is a version of the X1800 GPU, so it shares many of the same capabilities and performance attributes.”
