Verbatim Recharge-Go Mouse Review

The Verbatim mouse did not disappoint.  I got the most advanced movement I had ever felt in a game before.  The motion of the game was much more realistic when I moved my character to look around or to aim my gun.  I found that I was also taking zombies out with much more precision that before.  I made it through the final chapter of the second episode of Left 4 Dead with much less damage taken than before.  And this whole time I thought I simply sucked at the game.  Now I can shoot a Hunter as he flies through the air and knock his ass into the middle of next week.  It’s a beautiful thing, my friends.

So here’s my final take on the Recharge/Go.  It’s awesome.  It’s precise.  It kicks major butt if for no other reason than being wireless and giving such beautiful movement when fragging the crap out of your friends or fighting hordes of undead hungry zombies and mutants.  I personally give this mouse three thumbs up.  But you only get to see two of them.

category rating comments
Quality 5 Provided awesome tracking over the course of the mouse pad.  No choppiness and no lag in-game was awesome.
Innovation 3 The hand-modeled shape fit the hand like a glove, but it would be pretty much useless for the left handed.
Performance 5 On the gaming end the precision was astounding.  Combined with the shape it feels like an extension of your own hand, making games that much more realistic.
Installation 4 In Windows Vista it was as simple as PnP.  The included software was easy to use but seemed to lack something.
Value 5 This mouse is about the same price as other mid-high level gaming mice on the market.  While the ability to just dock and recharge would save money on batteries and time switching them out.
FINAL VERDICT: 4 out of 5 stars
