When traveling with the 200v, I decided to try out a couple of tests, one, we called my parents, and from the back seat, the kids could speak with their Grandparents easily and clearly. I was told all the speaking sounded as if the kids were right next to the speakerphone. This was also done from the third row seating, and while it did start to become more difficult, conversations could be had. Of course trying to talk to somone with a car full of children can be a booger, but I needed to know how well the unit could register sound. Plus, it seemed that white noise and other low level noises were filtered out nicely.

The end thought is that this is a pretty decent device. The cost is manageable if you have a cell phone with a poor speakerphone function or if you are plain tired of having an earbud in your car. In the greater Seattle area, where they are about to start pulling people over for talking on their cell phones, this is an easy way to avoid that problem.

Go to Radio Shack for charging help. They have a gizmo which plugs into 120v and provides 12v charging to the plug which come with the new unit.
This unit is great, but it needs someone to write a better instruction booklet.

Hold onto the second button until you hear a long beep and see 2 buttons flashing red and blue. Then use your phone to pair with the device and the code is "0000".
