An interesting option on the KRZR is the “call delay”. Once enabled, this feature acts as virtual answering machine that holds your incoming calls. In other words, when you receive a call, by opening the flip you get an option to answer the call or delay it. The delay option automatically activates a women’s voice saying to the caller: Please hold, your call will be answered in a moment. The neat part is that you can record your personalized message or music, for example: You’ve reached the offices of “YOUR COMPANY NAME, all of our representatives are currently busy, please hold, someone will be with you shortly. It’s a great way to give a professional business impression to your client via your own cell phone.

Nothing’s worse than delays when you’re waiting for a hot new gadget. Just ask the tens of thousands of people who queued up all night for the PlayStation 3 when it made its global debut in Japan Nov. 11. The console had originally been due out in the early part of the year but was held up by several problems. Judging by the lack of stock in stores, it’s still difficult for people who want one to do so before the holidays.
So it’s nice to see Panasonic living up to the promise it made at this year’s Ceatec show with the HDC-SD1 camcorder. This small-size, high-definition video camera records straight to a Secure Digital (SD) card. If you hate dealing with tapes but want home movies in high-def glory, this might be just the thing—if you can afford it. By comparison, you could pick up three PlayStation 3 consoles for the price of this camcorder, assuming you can get your hands on them.

To be honest I was never really a fan of iPod speakers. I never liked the idea of a set of speakers that can only be used for 1 device. Well after taking a look at the AudioStation from Logitech I was extremely impressed, and I actually purchased an iPod just to do this review. Logitech has done an amazing job on the AudioStation and it sets itself apart from other iPod speaker systems. It features touch-sensitive controls, an illuminated display, remote, and charges your iPod. So let’s check it out!”

“Targus is a company that is well known for their bags and backpacks as well as security items for laptops. I recently purchased a new laptop that has a 17″ screen, and until today I really had not been taking it out of the house. This is mostly because I had no convenient way of protecting it against the the horrors that await my pretty new laptop from the brutal outside. My old laptop bag was made by Targus and has seen its share of action over the last 7 years. Even though it was still perfectly usable after all this time (albeit, a little dirty), it was limited to a 14″ screen. Fortunately for me, Targus was nice enough to send over one of their 17″ XL Notebook Backpacks.”
Ideazon MERC Gaming Keyboard Review

Ideazon is best known for their Zboard- a keyboard that is made up of a base and removable keyset. A dedicated keyset is included for gaming and one comes for standard use- a novel idea, but something that take time to change and can get expensive if you start to buy specialty keysets. The MERC takes a standard keyboard and slaps a Fang Gamepad on the left side, but it can also be seen as the best qualities of the two Zboard keysets combined into one product.
With a retail price of under $40 and a street price closer to $30, the MERC is not going to have to offer a lot to impress consumers. That said, many people are going to resist any changes to something as familiar as a keyboard, so the price will not matter if the product does not stand up to expectations.

“Microsoft’s LifeCam NX-6000 is a nice little webcam, but may not be all that a user may expect. The NX-6000 is a high resolution webcam with 2.0 mega pixel video, but the quality of the video is not all that it would seem in some of the resolution settings. At 640×480 and 800×600 the NX-6000 performs marvelously, but other resolution settings are not as nice. At higher resolution motion is blurry and distorted due to low frames per second, while at the low resolution settings the picture is out of focus.
The video quality settings are an issue, but the design of this camera is amazing. Very small and portable, with a retractable lens. Once the lens is out it has the ability to tilt up and down for the perfect angle. This camera is perfect for portability; it is rugged and the lens is protected. The camera clip on back is quite sturdy as well. In addition to all that, this camera comes bundled with a nifty carrying case.”
