Kingwin Mach 1 600W Modular PSU
3d Game Man :: Sunday, October 22, 2006
“The Kingwin Mach 1 600W Modular Power Supply performs fairly well, is modular, and looks fantastic. This power supply, like most today, comes with two +12 rails and has dual PCI-E video leads. Also, being modular means less cable mess, therefore increasing airflow inside the case. Additionally, the two blue LED fans and two windows add a cool factor. Watch the Video to find out more…”

ASUS P5B Deluxe Wi-Fi-AP Edition Motherboard Review
Motherboards.org :: Sunday, October 22, 2006
With the release of the new BIOS that fixes the issues with the P5B Deluxe motherboard and Crossfire on the Prescott CPUs, there isn’t a reason not to recommend this board for the included features, as it scores over 40 on our Features chart with integrated Wi-Fi, Crossfire (though limited by the 4X lanes on the second PCI Express x16 slot), 8 SATA ports, and the other features that makes this board outstanding. The overclock I was able to achieve on the CPU we use for testing was excellent as well.

Seasonic M12 700W Power Supply Review
Virtual Hideout :: Sunday, October 22, 2006
“The trend of keeping the inside of a computer case clean and air flow friendly started by zip-tying cables together. Then it went to covering the cables in wire loom. Today, the newest method is the modular cable system. Seasonic jumped on this trend and developed their own style of detachable modular DC cables with their line of M12 power supplies.”

Samsung Digimax V700
Techware Labs :: Sunday, October 22, 2006
“When it’s time to look for a digital camera, the Samsung Company has a new camera worth looking at. Techwarelabs takes a look at the Digimax V700 sporting an impressive 7.1 MegaPixels, Mpeg-4 support at 30fps @ 640X480, and a nice optical zoom. We took the Digimax V700 for a spin, find out what we have to say about this new product from Samsung.”

Forceware driver comparison
Hardware Overclock Austria :: Sunday, October 22, 2006
Hardwareoverclock Austria has posted their monthly forceware driver performance comparison. They have tested the last 91.xx and 92.xx forceware drivers, betas and official versions. In the article you can change between 2 testsystems, AMD x2 4800+ or Intel E6600. The videocard was a POV 7950 GX2.

NZXT Adamas Case Review
Technic 3d :: Sunday, October 22, 2006
“The new NZXT Adamas Case is the next Midi Tower in the Technic3D Editorship. See you in the following Review which qualities the case presents.”

ASUS M2NPV-VM Motherboard
Tweak Town :: Sunday, October 22, 2006
“Added to this is the fact that the GeForce 6150’s onboard graphics controller can be enabled at the same time a PCI Express graphics card is installed to give multiple monitor support. This is really a nice addition as some large TV’s coming out have the need to run two DVI ports to get the screen image up and working nicely. Added to this, GeForce 6150 supports DirectX 9 with Shader Model 3.0 which means it will work just fine with the fancy Aero interface in the upcoming Windows Vista OS.”

Thermaltake Power Express 250W
techPowerUp! :: Sunday, October 22, 2006
The Thermaltake Power Express 250W is a video card power supply specifically designed for the needs of current high-end video cards. When you have an older PSU you may not be able to run Crossfire or SLI because the PSU can not supply enough power for the video cards to run stable. When installed, the Power Express will supply 12V to your video card(s), taking a lot of strain off your main power supply.

Toshiba TransMemory 2gig Thumb Drive
3d Game Man :: Sunday, October 22, 2006
“The Toshiba drive has a great product here. The TransMemory thumb drive performs well but not as fast as the PNY drive. The Toshiba drive fell behind on almost every score between the two competitors. This was only by a slight margin however and would only be noticeable between the two when transferring large files at the same time on two computers side by side.”

Coollaboratory Liquid MetalPad Review
Technic 3d :: Sunday, October 22, 2006
“Coollaboratory Liquid MetalPad, the first Thermal Pad with a nice cooling? See you the following Review from Technic3D”

Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro
DragonSteel Mods :: Sunday, October 22, 2006
” Ah, Silence, I love it. I want my computer to be as quiet as I can possibly get it, I hate hearing the buzzing of fans, or the clatter of drives. There are many options available for silent CPU coolers, and in my time I have reviewed a majority of them, but today for review I have the quietest CPU cooler I have ever run across. It is the Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro, not only is it silent but it looks great and cools very well. Read on… ”

HIS Radeon X1300XT IceQ Turbo 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express Video Card
Bona Fide Reviews :: Sunday, October 22, 2006
Just last week we review HIS’ new X1650XT graphic card. The X1650XT is a part of a new lineup of cards recently released that also included the X1300XT and X1950XTX. Today we have a second card from this lineup – the HIS X1300XT. This X1300XT features dual DVI outputs along with a overclocked core and memory speeds right out of the box. It comes clocked at 587MHz core and 1.38GHz memory by default with no tweaking needed.

Ultra Products X-Finity 500W ULT31843
Phoronix :: Sunday, October 22, 2006
“It has been quite a while since we had anything from Ultra Products in our facilities for testing, but recently we decided to take them up on an offer to look at their X-Finity 500W power supply with dual 12V rails and active PFC. This power supply is also NVIDIA SLI Ready, offers a 135mm fan, and uses FlexForce cabling.”

ATI X1000 + fglrx Q4/06 Update
Phoronix :: Sunday, October 22, 2006
“It has been six months since ATI Technologies had introduced Radeon X1000 support in their Linux fglrx display drivers. But how has the support evolved with their monthly driver releases? At Phoronix we have retested the last six display drivers with a Radeon X1k product to answer this question.”

NZXT Zero Review
Techgage :: Sunday, October 22, 2006
Building a PC requires several considerations. What’s in it? What’s powering it? What case do I use? How do I cool it? For using air cooling there’s a wide world of cases open to you but if you’re using aftermarket water cooling your options start to narrow. Today we look at a new case from NZXT that lends itself to both air and water cooling.

Zalman Fatal1ty FC-ZE1 Computer Case Review
Tweaknews :: Sunday, October 22, 2006
“Zalman’s association with Johnathan “Fatal1ty” Wendel has yielded yet another outstanding product. The FC-ZE1 Champion Series computer enclosure is a superb chassis with great aesthetics and the performance to back it up. The design, quality, craftsmanship and materials brought to bear in the creation of this chassis are second to none and culminate in a product that is, in my opinion, without peer. The design elements in combination with a rich, innovative feature set make installation a breeze and allow the case to exhibit great cooling performance while keeping noise to a minimum.”

APACK ZeroTherm BTF90 CPU Cooler
Think Computers :: Sunday, October 22, 2006
“ZeroTherm is a relatively new name when it comes to PC cooling. I’m sure most of you have not heard of them. Well today we are talking a look at ZeroTherm’s BTF90 CPU cooler. It is an all copper CPU cooler with a set of 4 heatpipes that make their way through the array of fins. The fin design is something I have not seen before. That makes me curious to see how well the BTF90 will perform. So let’s get this review started!”

A closer look at Folding@home on the GPU
The Tech Report :: Sunday, October 22, 2006
Stanford’s Folding@home project is already putting the Radeon’s pixel processing horsepower to use with a beta GPU client that performs protein folding calculations on the graphics processor. According to Stanford, the GPU client runs between 20 and 40 times faster on newer Radeons than it does on a CPU, a claim that no doubt sends folding enthusiasts’ hearts aflutter.

Foxconn 975X7AB Motherboard
Pro-Clockers :: Sunday, October 22, 2006
The motherboard that reigns at the top of Foxconn’s list for Intel processors is the 975X7AB. The board offers all the bells and whistles of the 975X chipset for about hundred dollars cheaper than most and offers a lot of performance to boot. Well, it’s time to see how well the 975X7AB stacks up against the rest.

Cooler Master Mystique 631 ATX Computer Case Review
Futurelooks :: Sunday, October 22, 2006
We had the opportunity to check out the Mystique 631; a solid looking case from CoolerMaster, makers of stuff that COOLS. Does the Wave Master have what it takes to be Master? Read the review and find out for yourself!

ICY DOCK MB454SPF-B Internal 4-Bay Drive Rack Review
Virtual Hideout :: Sunday, October 22, 2006
“The construction is high quality, with a very slick operation for removing and installing the sleds. I like the fact that it’s 4 Hard drives only taking up 3 optical drives. Simple install, compatible with RAID arrays and no drop in performance are all great features.”

Enermax Phoenix Mid-Tower Case
Pro-Clockers :: Sunday, October 22, 2006
I haven’t ever owned a single product from Enermax before, so I’m really looking forward to checking out some of their products. With that said, today we’ll be looking at one of their newly released PC mid-tower cases, the Phoenix. The Phoenix is based on an extremely popular base chassis that a lot of other case vendors are using, so what sets them apart from each other is the front bezel design and feature set included with the case.

Dell Ultrasharp 22407 WFP 24″ Widescreen LCD
The Tech Lounge :: Sunday, October 22, 2006
“For the past few years, Dell has been the king of LCD monitors, especially for those who are on a budget. That isn’t to say their LCDs are low quality, however, they just ship very high volumes and can afford to have very competetive prices. Dell’s UltraSharp 2407WFP 24″ LCD is certainly monstrous, but as the saying goes, bigger isn’t always better. We’ll put this bad boy to the test to see if it’s worth dropping the cash on.”

Antec TruePower Trio 650
techFEAR :: Sunday, October 22, 2006
“Antec continues to be a top choice in power supplies among enthusiasts and do-it-yourself builders. The TruePower Trio 650 is the largest of three PSU’s in Antec’s new series combining 650 watts with three +12V rails to satisfy practically all power requirements.”

Voyager Dual Fan Hard Drive Cooler
Modders Inc. :: Sunday, October 22, 2006
One area of the computer that rarely gets the attention that it deserves is the hard drives. With the size of hard drives increasing as time goes buy, the importance of cooling the massive drives becomes more important. With the increased size of hard drives, it also brings higher RPM(s) and higher operating temperatures with it. Cooling your hard drive will prolong the life of the drive. Today we are going to take a look at the Vizo Voyager 3.5″ dual fan hard drive cooler.

The new Sapphire Radeon X1950 Pro comes in blue, pics are available on day before launch.

Is ASUS Cheating?
NGO HQ :: Sunday, October 22, 2006
In the past, many accusations have been raised towards ASUS. Many websites and even competitors have complained about their “PEG Link Mode” feature that actually overclocks the user’s graphics card without their knowledge. Adrian Wong wrote an article about their trick, and even Gigabyte has mentioned this issue in the past. In my opinion, this is a very dirty move and may cause stability/warranty issues. Overclocking is fun – but only when the user is aware of it.
