*SPOILERS: If you haven’t played the game already, you may want to skip these next few lines.*
By this point in the game, you will most likely need full paragon or renegade to have the choice of recruiting Morinth.
The requirement does scale, not sure how, but it does. If you really want Morinth you’ll probably want max rep and then come back. Otherwise just go in and see what happens.
*END SPOILERS*
Break up the cat fight, and it’s Grunt and Jack with chat; caution with Grunt’s bit (may not want to be in the middle of dinner when you hear it).
Don’t forget to upgrade accordingly, early warning of Mordin’s song, and Jacob has an awkward bit (or maybe I just screwed any chance of furthering our chats).
Anyway, return to Omega.
There is an Ish to the right as you enter. He offers a quest to visit the other cities, so may as well take it.
Also, visit all three shops to see if any have an upgrade for you. All the big upgrades are very costly, so it is probably one for now.
Back to business, enter the club and speak to Aria about Samara’s daughter. The apartment entrance is near the elevator.
In For the Kill
Ask Diana where Nef spent her time, and feel free to use the paragon embrace.
Enter Nef’s room and read the three items – the diary is the key to moving this forward of course. But still look over all three and every entry, it does pay off in a bit.
From the shop area, hit the right side path to the VIP entrance, and name drop to get in. Feel free to review what you’ve heard thus far before going in.
- Vij – learn of Expel 10
- Horftin – help him and Florit is across at the other tables, and it’s terminal and eternity. Though, you won’t see anything else happen.
- Vertin – chance for renegade and they attack you first, so it’s fine
- Waera – dance with her and you should draw out Morinth
Once with her, remember to go art, Forta, Vaenia, music, Expel 10, Hallex, travel, danger, reward, and you’re off. And dropping “dark” 20 times in one chat means you got the right gal for sure.
At the apartment, look at the rifle behind you for the upgrade. Then look at the four things around the room, then talk.
You should have two rep options no matter what for the first two, but the third choice should require either 4 levels or 5 levels of either renegade or paragon points. If you don’t hit that, then there is no choice in who you will take – it’s Samara.
But with almost all one rep or the other you can choose. However, they are not all that different, Morinth just has the ability to kill you if you try to romance her, so that’s not much to look forward to.
*NOTE: Now you know why Samara was absent from the commercials for this game.*
